Location & Facilities


Baruch Leadership Academy students are able to experience life as a Baruch College student at our midtown Manhattan campus. During the duration of the program, Academy students can use the following Baruch facilities:


Students have access to the William & Anita Newman Library at Baruch College. The library contains over 500,000 volumes, 163,680 eBooks, and over 2 million units of microform. To learn more about the library, visit: http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/library/about.

Athletic Facilities

Students at the Academy have full access to the Baruch College athletic facilities, featuring:

  • An Olympic size swimming pool
  • Racquetball courts
  • Basketball courts
  • Campus Computer & Wireless Access

Academy students are given Baruch College login usernames and passwords, which allow them to access computer facilities and labs as well as access the wireless network from their own technological devices.

Residential Facility | 1760 Third Ave

The Academy offers students the opportunity to become fully immersed in the culture and vibrancy of New York City while learning and exploring Manhattan. Students have the option of living at our state-of-the-art facilities located on the chic Upper East Side or the option of attending the Academy as non-residential day students.

Located at 97th Street and 3rd Avenue, the contemporary living quarters are just a short ride on the 6 train to Baruch’s campus.  The state-of-the-art Residences are equipped with a high tech gym, laundry facility that texts you when your clothes are dry, and a very chill lounge to study or relax.

Residence at 97th Street includes:

  2. Get on the 6 train on 96th Street and Lexington Avenue (only one block away)
  3. By Bus
  4. 40 minutes to campus
  5. M101 at Lexington and 96th Street, get off at Third Ave and 23rd Street
