- Baruch College won the American Advertising Federation's 2007 District Two Diversity Achievement Award for an Educator. The annual award honors progressive individuals, corporations, and institutions that exemplify forward thinking in the enrichment of diversity of advertising. - Baruch’s innovative, 17-floor William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus was honored in 2003 by the American Institute of Architects with the highest award it offers to an individual building.
- The William and Anita Newman Library was named the top college library in the nation for 2003 by the Association of Research and College Libraries/American Library Association. Previous winners of the award were Oberlin, Wellesley, and Earlham Colleges.
