Our Modular Executive MS programs are designed to make Zicklin’s world-class graduate education accessible to executive students whose busy lives do not fit a traditional program schedule or who do not live in New York City.
Efficiently structured modules mean the same program that is offered in New York City to earn an MS in Finance, awarded by Baruch College, CUNY, can now be delivered in Mumbai. Executive students living and working in Mumbai, in India, or anywhere in the world now have access to Zicklin's outstanding business faculty and industry experts who travel to Mumbai to teach two consecutive weekends in the classroom for each of 10 modules. Additional coursework takes place before and after the classroom sessions, supported by an online platform that allows faculty-supervised individual and group work.
Classes in Mumbai are held at the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry in their facility at The Ruby, Dadar (West). Located in Mumbai's most vibrant corporate area, the classrooms are equipped with the latest technology including audio-video conferencing, LCD projectors, and high-speed WiFi. See Program Partners for additional information.
Each of the 10 modules runs approximately one month. This format allows you to complete your MS in as little as 11 months—or up to 36 months if needed. Students complete three initial required modules in Mumbai and must travel to Zicklin's New York City campus to take one module of their choosing, with at least three New York City options available to students who want the fastest path to completion. Tuition and fees for one New York City module are included in the Mumbai program cost. The remaining modules can be completed, based on availability, in Mumbai or New York City, and at your own pace. See Faculty for a list of Zicklin professors who will teach in the program. See EMSF Curriculum for module titles and descriptions, location schedules, and conditions of mobility.
Zicklin's modular Executive MS curriculum and format are designed to give students opportunities for global learning, locally and at other program locations. Zicklin faculty teach from a global perspective that is threaded throughout the curriculum. In addition to completing the classroom study for one or more modules in New York City, executive students in Mumbai will collaborate virtually with their peers in New York without traveling.
Executive students based in New York City may also choose to complete the classroom study for one or more modules in Mumbai and all students will collaborate virtually with their peers in Mumbai without traveling. These experiences broaden your business insights and expand your network as you pursue your degree. Upon graduation, all Executive MS degree recipients, wherever they studied, are full CUNY alumni and become part of Baruch's global network of more than 135,000 graduates.
To graduate, students in all locations must earn 30 credits for the Executive MS in Finance, maintain a cumulative 3.0 grade point average, and satisfy all Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business, and executive program policies, rules, and regulations. The Zicklin School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Conditions of Completion and Mobility
Zicklin's modular Executive MS programs are designed to give students a global perspective and opportunities for global learning experiences, locally and at other program locations. Executive MS students based at the program in Mumbai are required to complete one module in New York City. Zicklin strives to accommodate all module preferences but cannot guarantee that Mumbai-based students will be able to attend their first-choice module in New York City. Some restrictions on mobility may apply in order based on class size.
Students in Mumbai can complete their degree in as little as 11 months including attending one required module in New York City, out of a minimum of three possible modules. Students who choose to complete their degree at their own pace can do so up to a maximum of 36 months. Each module will be offered once per year in Mumbai and New York City. See Tuition & Fees for additional costs that may apply.
