U.S. News & World Report Names Baruch College to Nation’s “2019 Best Graduate Schools” List
Baruch College continues to be recognized among the nation’s outstanding higher education institutions as the Zicklin School of Business and the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs were named in the just-released U.S. News & World Report’s “2019 Best Graduate Schools” list.
Baruch College earned the #1 spot in both “Best Business Schools” and “Best Public Affairs Schools” among public institutions in New York City and State.
Zicklin Full-Time and Part-Time MBA Programs
Out of 480 colleges surveyed throughout the country, Zicklin’s Full-Time MBA program placed #55—its all-time highest ranking. The program ranks #1 among public institutions in New York State and #5 overall, sharing company with such private institutions as Columbia, NYU, Cornell, and the University of Rochester.
Zicklin’s Part-Time MBA jumped 22 places to #56 nationally. It also ranked #3 statewide, after NYU and Fordham.
Marxe School of Public and International Affairs
Placing #34 out of 282 U.S. colleges surveyed, the Marxe School tied with eight other institutions, including Johns Hopkins, Cornell, and University of Virginia. This ranking represents a jump of 11 spots from the last time U.S. News & World Report released its public affairs list in 2016. U.S. News will now evaluate schools of public affairs annually, rather than every four years.
Among public institutions, Marxe ranked #1 in New York City in the specialty categories “Public Management and Leadership” and “Urban Policy” and #2 and #1 respectively in New York State.
