NEW YORK, NY- June 17, 2016-Fenwick Huss, Willem Kooyker Dean of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College was among the representatives for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) selected to ring the closing bell for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Monday, June 13, 2016. This event marked the 100 year anniversary of the AACSB, a global, nonprofit membership organization of educational institutions, businesses, and other entities devoted to the advancement of management education.
Representatives from The Coca-Cola Company, Beta Gamma Sigma, The PhD Project, and member universities participated in the ringing of the bell in recognition of the AACSB’s groundbreaking impact on the business education landscape.
Only five percent of all business schools worldwide are AACSB accredited. The Zicklin School of Business is one of only 183 schools that have the distinction of having both a business and an accounting accreditation by the AACSB.
