Baruch College Ranks Among "Best Value Colleges for 2017: 300 Schools Worth the Investment" by Forbes
Placed #64 in National List of Schools That Deliver the
“Best Bang for the Tuition Buck”
New York, NY - May 18, 2017 - Baruch College is ranked among the “Best Value Colleges 2017” by Forbes. In this national list of “300 School Worth the Investment,” Baruch placed #64, coming ahead of New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, George Washington University, and Boston University, among others.
According to Forbes, “selecting an undergraduate school is one of the biggest financial decisions a typical American high school student and her family will make.” Given this premise, Forbes looked at not what the ‘best’ school was but “whether a college will deliver a meaningful return on investment.” Forbes then indexed 300 schools across the U.S. that deliver “the best bang for the tuition buck.”

An Expanding List of Top Rankings
This recent ranking by Forbes adds to the growing list of national recognitions for value and academic excellence. In January alone, Princeton Review cited Baruch College as one of the “Colleges that Pay You Back: the 200 Schools That Give You the Best Bank for Your Tuition Buck” and Business Insider named the school to its “Best MBA Programs for Under $15,000.”
Methodology: The Forbes 2017 Best Value College ranking indexes 300 schools that deliver the best bang for the tuition buck based on tuition costs, school quality, post-grad earnings, student debt, and graduation success. The data was collected from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and PayScale.
