Baruch College Ranks #17 Best Value Master's in Business Degrees by Best Value Colleges
New York, NY - February 1, 2017 - Baruch College has been ranked #17 on the Best Value Master’s in Business Degrees 2017 list by Best College Values. This top 20 ranking included the MBA program as well as the specialized MS degrees in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, and Marketing offered by the Zicklin School of Business.
According to the ranking, “a vast majority of business executives hold that a graduate degree in business” and the “MBA” is perhaps the greatest career accelerators of any graduate level degree available and earning a graduate degree in business is very likely to provide a high return on investment in the long run.”
Baruch ranked ahead of Duke University, Carnegie Mellon, and MIT. .
Methodology: Colleges for our 2017 Best Value Master’s in Business were selected from a pool of close to 300 regionally accredited colleges and universities that are widely recognized for their quality of business education by multiple national publications including U.S. News & World Report. The schools were ranked according to proprietary weighted methodology which aggregates publicly available data and produces an overall score of 1 to 100. Data was drawn from sources such as U.S. News scores, tuition rates, return on investment according to Payscale.com, graduation rates, and cohort default rates. The top 50 scores that come out of this methodology have earned their place in this ranking.
