PRWeek Names Baruch College's Master of Arts in Corporate Communication a Finalist for "Outstanding Education Program of the Year" Award
First year the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences degree program is entered into the prestigious competition
Baruch College’s Master of Arts in Corporate Communication program at the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences has been selected a finalist by PRWeek in the category of “Outstanding Education Program of the Year” for its annual U.S. awards.
According to PRWeek, these national awards are “firmly established as the communications industry's highest accolade. They celebrate the best of the best corporate, agency, nonprofit, and education teams, and the work they produced during the entry period.”
With only 39 trophies awarded in all categories, competition is rigorous, and judges come from some of the most influential and recognized agencies and firms in the industry.
“This is the first year that we have entered PRWeek’s awards competition,” said Michael B. Goodman, PhD, director of the MA in Corporate Communication program. “It’s quite an honor and a testament to the excellence of our students, alumni, and faculty to be chosen as one of five finalists from around the country.”
PRWeek’s ‘Outstanding Education Program” award recognizes education programs’ achievements in the following areas: curriculum, faculty, enrollment, impact on the industry, and placement success.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on March 15 in New York City. For a full list of the 2018 PRWeek awards finalists, go here.
